Title: How to get industry mentorship in filmmaking?
Post by: ColWynter on Apr 20, 2026, 01:02 PM
I've noticed that technical skills aren't enough; you need connections. Are there any production programs that offer direct mentorship from people currently working in the film industry? I'm looking for something hands-on in a major film hub like Vancouver.

Networking is everything, and Vancouver Film School is right in the heart of the action. Their film production diploma program connects you with mentors who actually work on big projects. I've seen their student films, and the production value is top-notch. For all the enrollment details, visit https://vfs.edu/programs/film-production . From my perspective, the industry access you get there is worth every penny!
