Title: Do universities really need online fax?
Post by: ColWynter on Mar 11, 2026, 09:24 PM
I work in student administration, and we still process transcripts and forms via fax sometimes. Would switching to online fax be practical in an educational environment, or is it overkill?

Actually, it's more useful than I thought. I helped set up an online fax system for a university office, and it eliminated the chaos of multiple fax machines around campus. Students' sensitive documents were handled much more securely. I learned a lot from https://digital-built-britain.com/ , where they describe real education use cases. Reading through those examples made it clear how other institutions handle confidential info safely, and it gave me practical steps to implement it without headaches.
