Vibration under braking on my Velar - anyone dealt with this?

Got a 2021 Velar R-Dynamic that's developed this annoying vibration under braking, but only when I'm coming down from higher speeds like on the Sheikh Zayed Road exits. Around town it's perfectly smooth, but hit 100km/h and brake and you can feel a wobble through the pedal and a bit in the steering wheel. I'm guessing it's warped rotors but I'm surprised given the car only has 45k km on it and I don't drive it particularly hard. The dealer wants me to bring it in for a full brake inspection but I'm worried they'll just recommend replacing everything at their usual prices. Been looking for a specialist that knows these cars well and found a place advertising Dubai Range Rover luxury brake pad replacement that seems to focus on the brand and might actually diagnose properly rather than just parts swapping. Before I take it anywhere, anyone else had this issue on their Velar or Sport? Wondering if it's a common problem with these heavier cars or if I might have just gotten unlucky with a bad set of rotors from the factory. Also curious if machining the rotors is even an option here or if everyone just replaces them now.
